On the 14th of February men do not give gifts but instead are showered by chocolates from their loved one. A month later on White Day the tables turn and it is the women’s turn to receive sentimental gifts. These must be at least three times the value of the chocolates they gave the month before! In April, a month later, the singles will gather together to eat black noodles in mourning for their loneliness.
