ONLINE ORDERS
Orders are acknowledged by e-mail on receipt. Orders are accepted on the basis that the items ordered are available and we will inform you if items are out of stock and the consequent delay.
PAYMENT
We accept debit and credit cards through the secure payment gateway Pay Pal and Stripe. We do not store your credit card details on our website or our server. The payment transaction is dealt with by Stripe using their integrated 3rd party SSL secure payment solution.
We further inform you that charge cards are subject to validation and authorisation by the issuer. If a card is refused for whatever reason we will contact you, but we will not despatch your order until payment has gone through.
For telephone orders, we will ask for further ID such as a passport or drivers licence and will only dispatch to the billing address of the card used.
We also accept payment by cheque, made payable to “Tim Best Direct.” Please write your cheque guarantee card, expiry date, issue number, and your address on the back of your cheque. We will await cheque clearance prior to shipping your goods.
DELIVERY
We make every effort to ensure your purchases are delivered within the time frames below, but as this is out of our control we cannot guarantee these times. Goods shipped to countries outside UK may be subject to customs’ charges, taxes or import duties. These charges are never included in our prices and are not for our account; they are not our responsibility.
Delivery on all items (excluding hand-engraved glass):
UK delivery is normally 3 – 5 working days. Delivery time for urgent orders in the UK and overseas quoted on request. Delivery next day can be arranged in UK provided the item is in stock.
Overseas delivery is approximately 3 weeks.

Delivery of hand-engraved glass from receipt of order:
UK delivery is approximately 2 – 3 weeks. We carry a range of stock and next day delivery can be arranged in UK for an additional charge.
Overseas delivery is approximately 3 – 4 weeks.
Delivery time for urgent orders quoted on request.
Please use a delivery address where your purchases can definitely be accepted. Delivery address changed after despatch will incur an extra charge.

DELIVERY COSTS
UK First Class – £5.95 on all orders. An additional £5.00 for glassware, chinaware and table mats.
Europe First Class – £12.95 on all orders. An additional £12.00 for glassware, chinaware and table mats.
Rest of World First Class – £25.95 on all orders. An additional £25.00 for glassware, chinaware and table mats.
RETURNS and REFUNDS
We will exchange or refund goods returned to us within 30 days of date of despatch to you (with the exception of personalised purchases where refunds non-refundable). We recommend any returns are sent with proof of delivery, or by recorded delivery. We cannot be responsible for goods returned that never reach us.

DAMAGED GOODS
If your goods are damaged on receipt, please contact us immediately by email info@timbestdirect.com or by telephone +44 (0) 20 3862 9559. We will replace damaged goods as soon as possible, but may require confirmation of the damage.
LIABILITY
To the extent that Tim Best Direct are able, we will not be liable for any direct or indirect, or consequential losses or damages as a result of accessing or using this website or any information in it, or as a result of our services. Our liability is limited to the value of the goods you have purchased.
VAT AND PRICES
We are VAT registered, number 195 2436 88 and charge 20% (for UK orders) within the retail price. Orders outside the UK will be charged the correct tax for the country that is assigned to the billing address.

PRECISION
We have made every effort to be accurate, but mistakes, especially regarding sizes, and typing errors, can occasionally creep in.
