Maldives and Rajasthan

Arrive at Male, board your private speed boat and be whisked across the Indian Ocean to the One and Only Reethi Rah Resort on Maldives’ largest island.  The ultimate luxurious retreat where you can unwind in pure paradise.  Water activities include snorkelling, diving, game-fishing, Dhoni cruises and sea-plane excursions.  On land enjoy tennis, the resident artists’ studio, spa and fitness centre, and a climbing wall.

Transfer back to Male to board a flight to Delhi (stopping in Kerala).  Spend the next day exploring Old Delhi accompanied by a knowledgeable local guide.

An early start today to catch the train to Agra and go straight to the Taj Mahal before the afternoon rush.  Transfer to the Oberoi Hotel and relax next to the pool with a magnificent view of the Taj Mahal.

Travel to Jaipur, famous for its colourful culture and eventful past, forts, palaces, lakes.  The markets are famous too, a paradise for shoppers where one can find all kinds of exotic and fun items.  Stay at the characterful and peaceful retreat, Samode Haveli, located in the old town.

Today it’s onto Jodhpur, the blue city whose skyline is dominated by the Mehrangarh Fort.  Stay in a restored 18th century haveli with views straight onto the fort.  From here, explore the fun and busy city.

Venture onto Jawai Village (named after the dam on the Jawai River). The dam has created a paradise of migratory birds along with leopards.  Stay in an African style safari lodge that has a glorious infinity pool.  Enjoy evening and morning game-drives in 4×4 vehicles.  There’s lots to see and if you’re lucky, you’ll see the leopards.  Make stops for sundowners with extraordinary views.

The last stop is Udaipur where you stay at one of the world’s most romantic hotels, the Taj Lake Palace on Pichola Lake.  During your stay visit the City Palace, shop in the old bazaar, go on guided walks and bike rides or simply relax by the hotel’s pool and spa.

Transfer to Udaipur Airport to board a flight to Delhi and connect onto the direct flight to London.
