Kenyan Safari and Beach

Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to the hotel where you will stay for one night.  Home to the African Fund for Endangered Wildlife, it was founded in the 1930’s by a couple who looked after five baby giraffes.  Now, a thriving environment, it is the only place in the world where you can feed giraffe at breakfast through the second floor window, a truly unique experience.

Board a charter flight to Lewa Wildlife Conservancy where you will stay in a cottage.  Here you will spend the next three days game viewing with your private guide.  Search for the ‘big five’ as well as other animals and birds. Enjoy delicious food, wonderful sundowners and cozy nights in your comfortable bed.  If you’re interested, learn about the conservation work undertaken in the communities such as joining rangers tracking rhino, mountain biking along fence lines checking voltages or spend the day with a mobile clinic.

This morning you will fly to Zanzibar via Nairobi and stay on the beautiful island famous for spices and white sandy beaches.  Your hotel comprises of private villas, each uniquely designed to blend in with the natural surroundings.  Their ethos is sustainable luxury, using organic locally grown fruit and vegetables as well as a strict recycling policy.  Spend five nights enjoying water-sports, day trips to caves and forests or simply relax on the beach.
