Day 1 - 4 - London - Nairobi - Kigali - Volcanoes National Park
Upon arrival in Nairobi be met and driven to a nearby hotel for one night in preparation for the flight to Rwanda the next day. Arriving in Kigali Airport, your guide will drive you to Volcanoes National Park where you will stay in an eco-friendly luxury lodge in a private banda with stunning views of the National Park.
Gorilla tracking is the prime reason for visiting the area and there are seven habituated families of gorillas at present.
Apart from gorilla tracking, you can track golden monkeys, visit the Dian Fossey memorial or go for a stroll around the picturesque villages and lakes.

Day 5 - 6 - Volcanoes National Park - Mgahinga Gorilla National Park
This morning transfer four hours north across the border to Uganda in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. A beautiful luxury lodge with views of three volcanos. Enjoy spotting wildlife, hiking up a volcano and learning about the Batwa local community.

Day 7 - 10 - Mgahinga Gorilla National Park - Queen Elizabeth National Park
An old coffee processing plant, your next lodge consists of eight bandas all overlooking the Queen Elizabeth National Park. Boasting one of the highest biodiversity ratings of any reserve in the world, Queen Elizabeth is home to almost a hundred animal species as well as more than 600 types of birds. One of the the main activities is chimp trekking accompanied by expert guides. However, other activities on offer include birding, visiting local community projects, scenic boat cruises on the Kazinga Channel and game-drives in Queen Elizabeth Park in 4×4 vehicles where, if you’re lucky you will spot the tree climbing lions in Ishasha.

Day 11 - Queen Elizabeth National Park - Entebbe - Nairobi - London
Today take a short flight (1hr) to Entebbe where you will make your return journey home via Nairobi.
