Botswana and Zambia Safari

Board an overnight flight to Johannesburg where you will connect onto a flight to Livingstone, Zambia.  Upon arrival you will be met and transported to a river lodge near Victoria Falls.  Spend your first morning touring the magnificent Victoria Falls.  In the afternoon relax in the lodge or take a trip to the vibrant town of Livingstone.

Today a chartered aircraft has been arranged to take you to Linyanti Marshes, a remote part of Botswana with abundant wildlife and the comfort of luxury tents.  As the only source of water throughout the dryer months of the year (May to October), the Linyanti Swamps are one of the most attractive areas in the Chobe Enclave, and draw a diverse species of game year round.  The areas relative remoteness makes it a favoured wilderness safari destination and a highly sought after area in Northern Botswana. Best known for its large populations of elephant and buffalo, which congregate in vast numbers during the dry season.  Activities on offer include game drives in the company of expert professional guides; off-road driving; walking safaris; and spot-lit night drives.

A chartered flight will fly you to the Okavango Delta to your next camp.  The Okavango is 15,000 sq kms covered with a glistening network of crystal clear water channels, lagoons, swamps and islands.  This unique freshwater system is the pulsing heart of Northern Botswana’s wilderness, growing with the dry season, shrinking as the wet weather returns.  The largest permanent inland delta system in the world, only slightly smaller than Israel, it sparkles like a precious jewel in the Kalahari Desert sand, an ecosystem of a size and intricacy rivaling any on earth.
