Arizona and Utah

On arrival, collect your hire car and make the short drive north to Sedona where you will spend the next few days.  Go on hikes and explore the magnificent red rock landscape of the area.

Today, have a fabulous drive to the Grand Canyon, passing through idyllic Oak Creek Canyon with aspen trees lining the banks of the clear river below.  Drive higher to Coconino Forest which has the largest stand of ponderosa pine in the country.  You will reach the South Rim of the Grand Canyon where you can spend time looking out at this Wonder of the World.  Return at sunset for an unforgettable view.  The next day, you will be met by a private guide who will accompany you on a tour of the Grand Canyon.  Learn about the diversity of flora and fauna, the geology and the cultural history of the area.  Return to the hotel for the evening.

Continue your road trip north to Glen Canyon where you find the Colorado River winding through the deep trenches.  Keep heading north toward the Utah border and the river leads into the clear waters of Lake Powell.  Explore the canyon and don’t miss Antelope Canyon and the stunning eroded sandstone passageways.  In the afternoon, drive to your hotel, the Amangiri which cleverly built around the base of the sandstone cliffs of the canyon.  Spend the nest two days exploring the area.  Activities include hikes, horse-rides, fishing, hot air ballon rides, kayaking, visit the twisted slot canyons and hanging gardens by private boat on Lake Powell.

Today, drive east to Springdale which will be your base for the next two days.  From here, explore Zion Canyon and Bryce Canyon National Parks.  At a higher altitude, Bryce Canyon is completely different from Zion, which limestone hoodoos, an army of surreal rock columns that frame sweeping views of the Colorado Plateau, are breathtaking.

Today make the three hour drive to Las Vegas and connect onto a direct flight to London.
