Handmade In Malawi

Katunudu is a collection of textile lifestyle gifts are beautifully Handmade In Malawi on Likoma Island.  Made by single mothers and orphaned carer’s, the workshop provides stable employment and empowerment to the ladies.  Each product made is unique  and uses a mixture of sustainable materials such as beads, shells, bits of foraged bone and coconut shells.  From cushion covers, table runners, napkins and bags each piece brings together traditional techniques and methods whilst intertwining it with new skills that in tern contributes to the development and skill-force of the Island.
